A Few Questions For You All

Feel free to email your answers to me if you don’t feel like/they’re too long to post here.
A few months ago, actually I had an idea, something that I wanted to try to make money online. I won’t lie - that failed, and pretty miserably too. However… the basics were solid, so I kept it at the back of my mind… and it’s resurfaced today with a twist and the chance to make thousands of dollars.
Don’t worry - I’m not going to sell anything to you guys today - in fact, I probably won’t be selling it directly on here (although if anyone wants it, feel free to contact me) - this will be a Clickbank product when it is ready as I feel it has the potential.
Apologies for being so vague, but I’ll try and spell it out. Basically, I’ve come up with a crazy way of making money… something so simple that people will be wondering why the hell this hasn’t been discussed before. This idea is also something that I have NEVER seen discussed on the Internet before, and I’ve seen quite a few ideas.
I hope you guys know that I’m not too much of an idiot, so I’m not just talking shit to drive some attention to it - anyways, what I have come up with is a guaranteed way to make $50/day minimum. Yes, I know about how it is near impossible to guarantee something, especially in the world of MMO however this idea has no potential for human error - you do a), you do b) (and anyone can do both) and you receive the profits. It will work for anyone, no matter how new to the Internet game and I have been working it for a while seeing some pretty decent results.
Again, feel free to call me whatever you want, but most that have read this blog will know that I do not promote things unless I am pretty sure that they will work. As of right now, only one other person has seen the idea and will be testing it out himself; however, he too thought it was revolutionary.
So now, the questions I have for all:
1) How much would you charge (or pay) for such a product? This is talking about a guaranteed $50+/day. It will not be sold to many people, and I want to keep it pretty exclusive - however, I would like to recoup the value of this idea.
2) How would you go about promoting it? I am looking into joint ventures with various marketers - if you feel up for it and have proven success with this kind of thing, send me an email. The problem is that it is hard to trust many in this niche, as tomorrow you tell someone one thing and they’ll agree and day after they will completely change their mind.
3) Would you be interested in this product (a revolutionary idea never seen before and possibly replicated by anyone) and what percentage of affiliate commission would you need to promote it to others?
I have a base version of the product developed, which needs to be touched up; I will be doing nothing until after my exams are up though, distracting as this may be. I’ll also be contacting my sales page designer to get together something that is cracking. At the moment, the minimum I’m thinking of charging is $50/copy, however most I have asked have said it is way too low.

On what you’ve given us I’d say I’d pay anywhere from $100-$150, but that’s just me as we’d obviously need a lot more about the product before purchasing.

yep, way too low. once it’s out, people will try to copy your idea, so you want to recoup *your* money as fast as possible, and as much.
Not knowing the idea, I’s say probably $200-$400.

I know that a lot more information is needed, which is why I’m taking this slow - sadly, I’m not some famous name so that everything I produce sells like hotcakes, even at $1997 like some famous e-courses do

$100 to $200 is fine if it is just the idea which you are tell.
If it is a recurring course where you would be spending a few minutes a day with the guy who purchased , then u can charge somewhere in mid $$$
At least i would pay $500 bucks if it brings in guaranteed money.
As you say it is just ten day’s income which the idea will bring in.
If you are giving a money back guarantee then you can charge more!
$50 or 100 is way too less.

Hey Ramanujam,
It is the exact steps to make $50/day minimum (this can be replicated and done as many times as you like) - of course, I’ll also offer after sales support through instant messenger, something that none of the “gurus” will give you.
Think what the above three responses tell me is that $100 is the absolute minimum

I would have a low price, then after first 30 copies (or around a small number) are sold, go higher.

Hello Jason,
Obviously some of your readers don’t understand pricing strategies.
There are 1000’s of products online saying what you are saying, only the top products from the top marketers sell for $100’s.
I would price it at $50, the first day. If you are selling it via clickbank, if the product is good, they will pick up on it. I would suggest sending the ebook to some top make money online blogs or all of them and they can review it if they want.
In the past you haven’t gone all out on a sales page, I would get a design for the page and the product from minisitegraphics.com

by low, i mean low relative to the final price, so say after 100 sales, the price was upped to final price, and was $500 to buy, you could start off at $50 for first 10 buyers, up to $100 for next 10, etc…

I will be contacting a few internet marketers - bloggers are useless for higher priced items sadly.

One point in one of the previous comments was very true.
If some of the top bloggers say if it is a valid and feasible idea i would blindly pay for it.
Also it would be nice to nice to give early birds a good discount and gradually increase the price.
SO, when can we expect to see this??
Btw, what happ to those tshirts, i remember reading it sometime back in TUK.

@ Ramanujam, who would you be interested to see promote the product? I would not like to see the likes of John Chow etc do so as it would devalue it in my opinion (he promoted crap like Peel Away Ads for example).
All those from TUK will receive a decent discount.
As for the tshirts, they’re available at the moment, but only to Indian/UAE residents. $7.5 through Paypal, with a permanent link on TUK / BP when you send in a picture. Just drop me an email if you’re interested.

When anyone online these days hears 50 dollars a day FOR SURE, people in the know get skeptical. What you’re going to need is a great landing page and proven results. I can discuss it more with you on IM if you want.

I think you’re one of the few people I trust. So if this things is for real and guaranteed than theres no problem charging $150+ for it.

If you want to make 50 dollars a day you could set up a lemonade stand and sell lemonade.
Didn’t you say it failed miserably before? But now you want to charge for it? Sounds attractive…tell us more.

Somewhere near $200, but for the start a few days the prices should be a bit slashed to get it really clicked well.

@ Max, this will be backed with quite a few testimonials, including audio. When I say guaranteed, I mean guaranteed - when talking about money, especially to those that know me well I do not hype up stuff. The possibility is there for much more of course, but I have not mentioned that yet.
I have a couple people working on this too to add further weight
@ Amit, that is the price range I’m thinking of… for TUK readers, with maybe $50 off for the first five people or so. We will see.
@ Bill, damn - you’ve ratted me out.
Seriously though, I perhaps phrased it wrong. A couple months ago, I came up with a theory - now this theory is rock solid, but it needed to be practised with a couple ideas. The first idea nosedived miserably, for reasons beyond my control. The second idea though is doing pretty well - although this will be backed by a truckload of proof from me & others before it goes live.

I’d say around $150-$200 would be decent enough price for such a product. If it guarantees a recurring income backed with a few solid testimonials I see absolutely no doubts that’d arise in a customer’s mind.
Couple of questions though, do you think the method could become saturated after a while? Also, are you currently using the method?
As for the sales page, I’d suggest getting in touch with Design Guru Ryan. He’s designed the sales pages for a couple of my eBooks and I highly recommend him.

@ Marek, the exact method that I’m detailing out could well become saturated, which is why I will be limiting the copies. However, the theory could be used for a variety of things, some of which I will be including in the report (and be giving free to all those that purchase).
Re: Design Guru Ryan - I believe he is throughly booked out, or at least he was last time I checked. I’m thinking of using ECoverNinja.com - I like their portfolio and they’re giving me a pretty generous discount

@ Jason, just checked and found that Ryan’s DGR UDC package was still available.
Did a bit more research and found out that the industry leaders are MinisitePulp.com operated by the former owners of eCoverFrog.com
I haven’t personally used them but several friends of mine have used eCoverFrog and they highly recommended them.
Regarding the eBook, book me a spot for sure if the theory can surely be applied for lots more things other than the methods you suggest. Did you have any success with the method? I also hope, it doesn’t require constant maintenance as I can hardly find time for Internet Marketing as it is and prefer to put things on a set and forget mode.

Selling it for $100-150 will be too cheap… simply based on a sentence your posts that says “guaranteed $50 / day income”. But it won’t be that cheap too, considering you will sell it to 100 other webmasters. Now my question is for how long these 100s of webmasters would be able to pull in $50 / day. So if I calculate that $50 earning remains for only 10 days, and then it starts reducing to $40,$30 per day… the purchases already got his ROI isn’t it?
$500+ whatever he earns after 10 days, and he might be spending only $200-300 on purchasing the product. So it’s 100% returns in 10 days, no stock market company would give this unless it’s too hot.

A lot of people have thrown numbers out there of what they think this could be worth. The one question that I have (and maybe I missed this) is how much time will it take to make $50 a day? If it takes more than an hour to make this money then I wouldn’t consider it worth my time, and thus wouldn’t give it much value as a product.
If it is really as easy and guaranteed as you state then I think the thing to do would be get some review copies to some of the big names in the industry and see what they think, and use those as testimonials when marketing the product/idea.

I personally probably won’t be paying for anything more than $100 yet. Even BANS is below $100 and if implemented correctly, the income is unlimited, so even your $50 a day promise is not that much… much for me though, and I will seriously consider buying your said product for $100

That is what I am already doing mate (and looking at more
).
However, there is room for around 20 - 25 people to join me and not lose any profit margins. The key is finding out the value to those 20 - 25 people.

I’d just sit on it and ride that cash cow out to pasture. You could make it exclusive to a few people who you would be able to securely sell it to without it getting out of hand. As far as a clickbank campaign it would be over in 48 hours.
