How To Get The Post Password

Posted by Jason in Daily Rambling

Today is the LAST chance to enter the Nintendo Wii contest. All you have to do is subscribe, so check it out and win a Nintendo Wii! :)

A few of you know that I talked a few days ago (August 7th) about releasing a step by step guide to a method that has made me $7,500 over the last two months (with zilch work after setting it up). Now, I gave ample time for people to do the tasks - tasks that were nothing compared to the idea you’d gain (if you didn’t know of it already).

I could quite easily have packaged this up, created a sales page and put it out there as an information product at $47, and no one would have blinked an eye.

However, I did set myself a deadline, as in all honesty I didn’t want to spend the rest of my entrepreneur “career” answering emails asking for the password. Even though I set a deadline, I’ve gotten emails and instant messages from more than fifty odd people asking for the password, people that can’t read or were too lazy to do the tasks.

Anyways, as I’m an evil nice guy, I’m giving you guys one more chance - the password will be given out until August 20th, no more. If you ask me after that, I will smack the hell out of you.

As people that get in early should always be rewarded, the things you have to do will be harder. Just to be fair to people that did follow instructions.

1. If you have a blog, write a full blown review of this blog. Length is up to you, but it should be a few paragraphs at least. Positive or negative, that is entirely up to you. :)

2. Refer five friends to subscribe via email and get them to comment on the original post.

3. Build ten dofollow links to this blog, with anchor text ‘entrepreneur blog’. If you’re going to be blog commenting, do not put out crap, two word comments in broken English as they will do more harm than good. This is no longer something available as of August 16th, 2008 because of the dangers (have had something like 1,000 links built towards this blog with the anchor text over the last couple weeks). Sorry guys, but you can easily do one of the former two. Cheers to Jacob Cass for pointing this out :)

Two things you can do, no negotiations.

Another thing - if you have questions about the actual method (having got the password earlier), please leave questions on the post, or email me - do not contact me via instant messenger. Some people have been pissing me off with dozens of questions within the space of minutes, remember that I’m supposed to be on a break. :)

Thanks guys. Comments on this post are closed. :)

Break It Down To Reach Your Targets

Posted by Jason in Daily Rambling

Although this isn’t a make money online blog, I’ve talked a lot about various strategies I’ve used to make money - some people come here solely for the tips on making money and boosting their online business, and that’s fair enough.

Yesterday, I put out a post recommending a product - one that has worked for me. I did however state that if you were not making a certain amount of money - that is $1,000/month, you did not need the product.

I was contacted by a few people - those that bought, those that commented, those that asked me over instant messenger, a lot saying that they were not yet making the $1,000 per month I said you should be. Thought I’d write a post to make things easier for those of you that aren’t there yet to reach your goal.

First off, I get a lot of private questions every single day, asking what ways I recommend to start making money. For me, the best ways are also the simplest ways, that is ways that don’t require any / a lot of investment.

When I recommend simple things to make money, some people get shocked - tell me the secrets! they complain, not wanting to work. Those that do work, make money; I’m happy to have come across and personally helped complete newbies make their first money each this week, ranging from $100 - $500. I didn’t do any work, just pointed them on their way… it was completely them that was the reason for their success, and I see them replicating it again and again. One of the coolest things online is to see people that believed they couldn’t do it… surprising themselves even by doing what they thought impossible.

A few days ago (I’ve been behind), I got an email from a reader of this blog - speaking of his want to earn $1,200 monthly. Now that is an admirable goal, and I sent him some tips; but also thought that it would make a good topic for a post on here.

$1,200.

Now that is a big number, for a newbie. When I started out, it didn’t seem like I’d ever reach that number; these days if I don’t lazy about I can hit that in a day.

If you break it down, though…

$1,200 spread over a month (30 days on average) is only $40 daily.

I don’t know prices where you guys are, but over here that’s around four lunches.

Still difficult? Let’s break it down further…

If you break down that $40 into three methods - one main one, and two accompanying ones, you only need to earn $20 with the main one and $10 each with the accompanying ones.

Here’s exactly how you’re going to earn that $40. I’m putting here three standard ways, ones people are using daily, ones people are already making loads of money with. Each way, of course can bring you the amount monthly by themselves, but let’s start small.

- Services

- Website flipping

- Domain flipping

Again, nothing revolutionary in this post; some find it easier when everything is mapped out for them.

Now most people have some kind of skill - be it being able to write fairly well, being able to design, or being able to code. I can do the former, but fail completely at the latter two. If you don’t have any skill, learn! :)

You don’t need to be Shakespeare, Picasso, or the umm… coding equivalent of the two, just half decent.

Now - personally, I’ve found website flipping easiest, so we’ll take that as our main money maker, with the other two accompanying.

There are plenty of tips on here to get you building a website in less than thirty minutes that you can sell for $20… $20 is not a lot for a website. Remember to use a .INFO, to save yourself money (or a cheap .COM - you know where to get cheap domain names :) )

I’ve covered niche websites and proxies on here, however if you want to see a post dedicated to a specific type of website, let me know. I’m not going to go too much in depth on website flipping, as there is enough information on here to get started. If you need more - just ask and I’ll put a post up when free.

As for services; you need $10 from your services, and you can find work on the various webmaster forums.

If you’re writing articles for $5 each, you need to sell two articles.

If you’re doing designs for $5 each, you need to sell two designs.

If you’re doing coding jobs for $5 each, you need to take two jobs.

Of course, you can raise your prices, meaning less work, less time, same amount of money (or even more).

If you don’t want to do services, you can do something like forum posting. Something that everyone can do.

Remember, at $0.15/post (Forums First offered that when I was with them) you need 67 posts to get your $10. You can do that in 30 minutes, if you concentrate on the job and nothing else.

Now… the first two ways (services and website flipping) have been covered here, and are in depth. Let’s talk about domain flipping.

It is insanely easy to make $10 profit on a domain.

All you need is a half decent, two word .COM. Remember the cheap domain tip at Name.com ;)

You buy at $6, you need to sell at $16. Maybe add a couple dollars for Paypal expenses and the like.

A great place to find domain ideas is Namepros.

There’s a section called Available Domain Names. You might have to be a member to see it, it didn’t use to be like that but now it doesn’t allow you to view it without being registered.

Just browse through those threads and you’ll find something flippable. This is a tactic I have been using ever since I started the whole thing (sometime around September - November 2007) and it still works.

Remember, two words, related, brandable. Or a five letter, pronounceable  .COM.

Of course, you won’t always make $20 from your main method, and $10 from your other two. However, a downwards in one will usually (on average, across the course of a month) be offset in an upwards move in one of the others.

You’ll sometimes find that someone has taken an interest in your fresh website at $25, $50, or even $100. Or that someone thinks your domain is worth a lot more than you did.

If you want another idea to get to that $10/day, here’s one. Sell PLR.

PLR, especially ones that promise to make money (and are half decent… check them out, otherwise all you’ll get are refund requests) sell well on webmaster forums.

You can get cheap reports, aimed at this on the Warrior Forum - however, be careful in the WSO section as it is not for those which have loose purse strings. I once got caught up in the hype of sales letter after sales letter and was suckered into spending around $300 in less than an hour. This was at the beginning, when that was something like a quarter of which I made the full month! :)

Think like your average house burglar - quickly in, quickly out. Scan thread titles for mentions of ‘resale rights’ or ‘private label rights’ and pick a good report backed with solid testimonials and proof.

A decent report being sold to more than one person usually won’t cost you more than $20 - $30 to obtain resale rights to. Three sales and you’re even; four and you start seeing profits.

These are NOT set and forget income streams. However, they work well enough for you to get the $1,000 - $2,000 you need for bigger things.

My idea to start out and make money online is pretty simple - try everything (good, bad, evil), repeat what works, ditch or tweak what doesn’t.

Once you have that $1,000 - $2,000, you move on to bigger things. Bigger site flips, bigger service jobs (outsource, act as the middle man and take a lot of profit).

Apologies for the basic post, but I hope it helps a few of you out. I’ll be taking a bit of a break this week, and have a lot of guest posters organized; the post on the 12th will go out, as with announcing the contest winner on the 15th. If I don’t respond to emails, I’m not ignoring you on purpose - just enjoying the last few weeks of my holidays :)

Four Tier Annilhilation Review - My Personal Recommendation

Posted by Jason in Daily Rambling

If you’ve read his blog for any amount of time, you know I don’t push many affiliate programs - the biggest thing I recommend is Hostgator, and that costs a penny to sign up. The thing is, that with most affiliate products, they are either not needed for newbies (like OIO Publisher) or a waste of time and money (Google Nemesis…). There have been hundreds of product launches since I started TUK, but I haven’t pushed any of them. When was the last time you spent money on this blog?

I have however had a few people ask which products I do recommend - here’s one. A lot of you know my opinion on information products - I don’t mind them, as long as they contain useful information that will help newbies. Anyways, I buy most of the latest eBook / product launches, just to take a look at the marketing behind them. Most are a load of crap, but Four Tier Annihilation definitely isn’t.

If you’re earning less than $1,000 monthly, you probably don’t need this. There are ways to get around that figure without having to spend a dime, some of which I’ve covered on here.

If you’re earning more than that though, and want to take your income to the next level… Four Tier Annihilation is a product I recommend.

It retails at $77, but is well worth the investment. How do I know this? Because I’ve tried one of the methods and actually made money.

Launch date was June 10th I believe… I was approached by one of the organizers behind the launch, a pretty cool guy. Anyways, being pretty lazy I did not start until six days later. Bear in mind this was a method (there are a few in the report) that I had never thought of before.

Income statement shown below. I setup a new Paypal email specifically for this.

If you do some quick adding up, that is over $700 in income shown over two days (there’s still another page for June 17th…) on a brand new idea. One I hadn’t known about before.

That’s what I love about the product - there are just so many ideas, that even if one doesn’t hit off, others will work for you. There are around half a dozen methods that you can use to generate income for yourself, and as for the amounts of ideas you can take from the report… this will blow your mind.

A large part of the product is eBay annihilation, but there are other methods, including affiliate marketing, domain flipping… the complete product is more than 100 pages long. Very little fluff.

There is also an upsell… you don’t need the upsell. I haven’t even looked at it, that’s how happy I was with the product itself.

It is written in a basic, engaging style that newbies will understand, and best of all it’s been proven to make money. Not just on the sales page (most will be skeptical of anything on a sales page…) but also from myself, and from others I know that have bought the product. Some have done as well as me, some have done much better… most have made more than what they spent on it within the first week or so (by taking action).

This is one of the few reports that actually revealed stuff to me that I hadn’t know, hadn’t even though about before. Most ‘reports’ released, especially in the internet marketing niche are rehashed, overhyped crap that doesn’t work anymore. This one does.

I’m still using the methods in Four Tier Annihilation to make money, even now, two months down the line. These are not methods that will get outdated or oversaturated.

Let me mention this again - if you’re not making a lot of money at present, you don’t need this. If, however, you are making enough where buying this will not put a large dent in your balance, this is a great purchase.

Remember, that this is a Clickbank product - and if you don’t like it, or feel that it’s as good as I claimed, ask for a refund. I doubt you will though, because it truly is a top notch product, one of the best I’ve ever read.

Here’s my bonus - buy this product through me, and I’ll spend thirty minutes with you discussing the methods in Four Tier Annihilation and help you decide which is the one for you to best start off with. Rather than give you another product as a bonus, or private label rubbish that’s of no use to you, I’ll give you personal support that will make you money. :)

This is one of the few products I recommend - I promise, heck; I guarantee you that it will be one of the best products you’ve read too. So check it out!

Create A Report In Ten Minutes

One of my greatest recommendations to make money on the Internet is to create your own product - it’s one of the best ways to make money. Payments are instant (unlike Adsense or affiliate programs), you’re in complete control (one of the most important reasons!) and it’s easier to build a reputation with your viewers if you’re known for producing top notch content. I wrote a post about this a while ago with more reasons why you should use your own products to make money.

A lot of you, however may find creating a ‘product’ difficult… what do you put in it, how do you format it, what do you price it at? For the latter two, I recommend Open Office for formatting (it’s free…) and $1/page to sell at when you start out (so a ten page report would sell for $10), which you can increase as your reputation grows.

If you can’t think up what to do to create your own product, here’s some ideas…

Outsource. I outsource EVERYTHING I don’t like in online business (so that’s about 95% of the work  ). Seriously though, you can often find writers for pretty cheap on the various webmaster forums.

At $0.01/word (which is the standard rate for those starting out - I don’t like that it’s so low, but there you go) you can get a huge (4,000 - 5,000 word) report written for $50 or so. If you wanted to sell it at $10, you’d just need five sales. And if you wanted a smaller report, it would cost you less than $20.

For me, a good size for a low value product (less than $20) is around 1,000 - 2,000 words. People get bored reading much more than that.

Forums. The thing about forums is that they turn people lazy, myself included. People find a good forum they like (in any niche…) they start using it instead of Google, and posting all questions there without searching for the answers.

This is where you take advantage. Google ‘niche forum’ and take a few minutes analysing the threads.

Take any questions you find, Google them, create a report and rewrite the answer in your own words.

For example… ‘How Do I Get My Cat To Not Scratch The Furniture’ is a topic that could make a decent report. Add some stock images, bullet points, bam - you’ve got a report.

Use experts. A great website is Guru.com… you can find experts on various niches there.

What you can do, is find a few questions you think would do well in the niche (or use SEOBook’s tool to see what people are searching for). Get the expert to answer them in a Skype call, pay them something like $50 - $100.

Outsource a short report for less than $20 with that, and maybe even create a video or two - you now have a complete product you can sell for $50 or more. You won’t realise how easy it is until you’ve tried it.

Private Label Rights. Buy a PLR product cheap from somewhere like the Warrior Forum, slap on your name and resell it.

Free Content. Grab articles from the likes of Ezine Articles, take the best 5-10 and create a report (with sources properly attributed at the end). This is not for a report to sell, but one that you could give away (to build a list).

The first, and last two will take you ten minutes or less of work if you’re slightly clued into the IM game :)

How do you promote?

Now, you could concentrate on the one time sale, but that’s not the best way to go.

What you want to do is build up a following in the niche - build a list, and provide them with good information. If you provide them with top quality stuff week after week, your conversion rates will shoot through the roof (I’ve seen more than 60% buy a product after just 4-5 emails).

Use a program like Aweber, and setup a simple landing page. A few paragraphs of text, offer a free report (which you can create yourself using one of the ways above) and drive traffic to it in various ways (see below). An example landing page is mine at Earners Guide - check it out for ideas.

The BEST way to promote a list is through niche forums. You do not have to spend a dime to build a list, nor do things like article marketing which can be short term and arduous.

Of course, you’ll need to do some Googling. You’re looking for niche forums with less than 100,000 members - it’s easier to establish yourself on there. Just search for “keyword forum” (you can add in + powered by vBulletin if you want).

You want a catchy signature. For example:

>>>> CLICK HERE TO FIND OUT HOW I LOST 20 LBS LAST WEEK, FREE <<<<

You get the idea. People are interested in that kind of thing - you want them to click through. You can also outsource posts (you’ll start to notice a common trend in this post…) you can get posts at around $0.1/post, so 250 posts for $25 (or $20, negotiate a little  ). A little posting activity, and you’re not just building links and increasing exposure to your squeeze page, but also becoming more trustable in the eyes of the community.

As long as your posts are good, you will get visits, and signups. Getting ideas for emails is easy too - use the same ways mentioned above.

You can promote affiliate products through your list, but my recommendation is always your own products… however, you need to make sure there is a want.

The easiest way to do this is to ask what your customers want (although most might say they would be unwilling to pay, if they think they had a choice; but pay if you promoted to them without the choice), or you could just have the product created yourself.

A good list number to start promoting products is 500. At least five emails before you mention them parting with money. If your emails are good quality, and your prospects targeted (check x 2 in our case) you will generally see a conversion of at least 10%. So that’s 50 buyers of your $27+ product - decent amount, don’t you think? :)

Good luck - as always, feel free to ask any questions. I’ve also been asked by a few about products I recommend - there will be a post tomorrow on one of them :)

Learn How I’ve Made $7,500 Over The Last Two Months Soon…

Posted by Jason in Daily Rambling

Those of you that have been around TUK for some time may remember a post I wrote with a few questions… talking about a method I had stumbled across that would make a guaranteed $50/day. Now, within the week after that post, I had people contacting me, willing to pay $500 or more… I however declined, as I wanted to play around with it a little bit myself.

I could have sold this, but have decided not to. This will only be realised to active readers of this blog, so see below…

Of any blog, there are three kinds of readers.

1. The active reader who takes a serious interest. That is, commenting on most posts, plugging your blog when they see something they like.

2. The subscriber, who helps the metrics of your blog and occasionally buys or signs up for products and services you recommend.

3. The passive reader, who does not do anything but read posts. No comments, no subscription - nothing.

Obviously, the first kind of reader is the best one, and the last kind is not as good (although better than someone that does not read your blog).

On this blog, there are around 50 - 75 of those in the first category, and a few hundred in the second category. The rest fall into the latter category.

I am releasing this information without financial charge, however I would like to reap the rewards of doing so, in various metrics increases.

On August 12th, I will put out a blog post with this information. However, this post will be password protected.

To get the password, you’ll need to do one of three things.

1. Refer three friends to subscribe to TUK via email, and tell them to comment on this post confirming. I will check.

2. If you have a blog post with more than 25 subscribers, write a post talking about TUK and link to the homepage. If you have a blog with more than 100 subscribers, give this blog a paragraph plug in one of your posts, telling people why they should visit.

3. Build five dofollow links to this blog with the anchor text entrepreneur blog“. They can be in active forums, on dofollow posts, up to you really. If you are going to do this on dofollow posts, do not leave spammy comments as this will do more harm than good.

Let me know which you will be doing in the comments section, and follow up when you are done with another comment.

This is a little experiment, to see how active the members of this blog really are.

You do not have to participate, but only those that do will get the password to the post. Again, these have to be new events - a new blog post, new links or new subscribers (I’ve already exported yesterday’s email subscribe list). None of them are that difficult, and none should take you more than 10 - 20 minutes, so if you want to know the money making idea - which is far, far better than anything ever released on this blog - you WILL participate. :)

So, what’s it going to be? ;)
