Unfortunately, this is the only time I’ve been properly able to use the computer today. I don’t know what the problem is, but the Internet doesn’t seem to be working very well - pages taking upwards of ten minutes to load, instant messenger screens lagging and some websites just refusing to work (this blog’s Wordpress dashboard being one of them).

Luckily for you guys, this means you’ll get the chance to promote your website should you want to put in a little work.

What am I talking about? Guest posts on this blog.

I’ve always advocated a strong guest post as being one of the best ways to increase exposure for your website and your brand. Why? You’re putting yourself out there in front of a new audience, one that a lot of which has probably never heard of you or your website, and thus you can reap the rewards.

For the next month, I’ll be taking guest posts. I’ll still be posting once a day, but of late I’ve had problems with the Internet as well as things like parties etc to go to, and I’d rather a top class guest post from someone else than half arsed rubbish from myself.

Your guest post will go out to more than 950~ subscribers, will remain on the front page for a few days and if done well, will get you some traffic, subscribers etc.

A few tips:

- Keep your post interesting. Remember, that people will take this one guest post as an example for how you normally write, and if it’s a boring topic - they will not click through. Make sure you don’t have too many grammar or spelling mistakes - a couple are already, but if your post is written in txt spk you’re not going to inspire anyone to check you out.

- Make sure your own site is in order. If the last post on your website was a paid review, you probably don’t want to have a guest post on a big blog sending you traffic.

- Link to your RSS feed, or better yet setup a page telling people WHY they should subscribe to your blog. Nothing better than preselling visitors on what you can offer them :)

Anyways, you can post about…

- Entrepreneurship

- Blogging

- Making Money

- Internet Marketing

- Webmaster Experiences

Anything that you feel will be interesting for readers of this blog. I will look through posts before they go live of course, and if it is rubbish / nothing more than a sales pitch / has bad grammar / spelling, it will not go live and even if it did, it would do more harm than good. Y

You’re allowed to link to your site a couple times, no affiliate links unless the post is really top notch stuff. To get started, send me an email. I’d prefer if it was created in HTML, but even if it isn’t no worries.

The site flipping competition will go live (with the rules published first) later this week.
