Yesterday was an irritating day at best for me - a couple of you heard about it first hand through MSN; a few of you found out about it after seeing a negative iTrader I received. Anyways, the iTrader doesn’t really matter - I’ve done enough successful deals in the past for any serious businessperson to realise that I’m a honest person; one idiot leaving a negative in a thread with around 150 - 200 positive reviews ain’t going to kill anyone.

What’s the whole story? Well, everyone that reads this blog will know about my eBook (currently being sold on www.lazy-riches.com); anyways, it’s amassed a phenomenal number of revenue in sales, and relatively happy buyers. This twit - named Carlos (and I have no problem naming idiots who irritate me) begged me for a copy at a discounted price - I relented because he said he was struggling and I had seen him doing slave labour jobs for $1.00, so I felt slightly sorry for him - anyways, I gave him a copy at $9.00 ($5.00 off the price at the time). Now, given his initial queries - stuff like ‘can you give it to me for free and I will pay you when I make $xx’ - I was sceptical, but I like to think the best in people, so I sent him a copy.

What happened next? Well, around five minutes after receiving it - a fifteen page eBook; heck, he must read even faster than I do; he asked for a refund, saying that the method was shit, he didn’t think he would earn with it and it wasn’t worth trying. Now, I tried to negotiate with him on Yahoo Messenger - asking him how the hell he read it that fast and even telling him that I’d walk him through it, but he held firm - I gave in in the end as I didn’t really want to deal with his bitching. End of story, right?

WRONG! The next day, the twit started thrashing my sales thread - most of his crap was removed, but some of it still remains - now, that’s a minor annoyance (again, with 20~ pages of one reviews, who’s going to listen to one idiot?) but what really annoyed me was that I saw him a) selling the links in the report and b) implementing the method. Two questions for the jackass - if the report was so useless, obviously the links in it were too - so why the hell are you selling them if they’re useless? Now, this was bad enough - the twit eventually started selling them at $0.1 a pop (with no interest after a couple mates on here took it to him) but anyways - him implementing the useless method was even worse, as by trying it out, he proved not just that it had a decent chance of earning (why fork out for the domain otherwise?) but also proved himself to be a liar and a cheat.

Now, upon learning what he was doing, I asked him for the money back - $9.00 wasn’t going to kill me if I didn’t get it, but I hate seeing people get my work free - after receiving the PM, he became very abusive - threatening to post the links in the thread (to the eBook) as well as all others; anyways, that was the last straw - I did the (in my opinion, of course) right thing and called a c*nt a c*nt; left him a negative iTrader; anyways, he reciprocated - why, I do not know as I had given him a refund - apparently he wanted to be compensated for his time. C*nt!

Instead of studying, I went gaming with a couple friends today - went to a computer/arcade centre and played Counter Strike, BattleField, FIFA 2008, Command and Conquer… etc. Due to that I got back with a ton of private messages, emails and instant messenger popups - in fact, I’m still answering them now. As for the prizes - don’t worry guys, I’m on it; have emailed the sponsors and as soon as I get the go ahead from them I will forward your details to them. I have taken care of/am in the midst of taking care of the things I’m in control of - pushed the OnceUponAScaryNight.com website to Razi and emailed all eBooks out. In future contests, I’m thinking of offering less prizes, but with more worth - this becomes easier to manage for both those who participate and the poor fool trying to run it (ie me )

Not much more to say tonight; late here and near bedtime; anyways, the cartoon designer finished his sketch on the character - take a look. Well worth the money I paid alone, in my opinion; this is going to be coloured in and a background added too
